So what makes this game different other than the multi on a 3 inch screen?

The maps are a little bit different. Things like the stadium are under contruction, there are no tunnels, but ferry piers. The Hospital is undergoing expansion.

Also places are different, JD runs Luigi's Sex Club 7 at the start (I havent progressed far) and other places are different. The cars are basically the same, lots of bikes, which is hella fun.

There are two rival mafia families, so you gotta watch your step in certain neighbourhoods.

There are the standard GTA weapons, with some interesting melee ones, like a hatchet and hockey stick (I have the hockey mask outfit, this is good fun).

Can you fly in planes like SA?

No, no flying at all, the PSP couldnt handle it I dont think. Maybe in the next one? I mean all the GTA's are on PS2, but at the time they were pushing it to the max.

My housemate has it and i gotta say its amazing as well. It looks the same as GTA3, but it has bikes and a bunch of new cars. I've only explored in Portland but once my mate opens up the rest of the place i am gonna have a look at Shoreside as thats much bigger supposedly.

Yeah, its lots of fun. Some of the missions are retarded.

One, you have to shoot off the back of a boat, like in most of the GTA games before, but I dunno how you PS2 guys can play without a mouse, its so hard!! Same with sniping... A mouse really helps.

SA doesnt have multiplayer. On the PS2 it had some thing, it didnt look too great though (it wasnt on the PC version).

LCS has full on multiplayer. You drive around the whole of LC and can kill anyone, or each other etc. There are loads of different game modes. Its what GTA was meant to be about!!

And yes, the PSP has WiFi, and can even connect to you wireless network and browse the web.

i dont think SA does have multiplayer. and PSP are WI-FI

No, there is no built-in online play for LCS, I think the size of the maps etc would lag terribly online.

SA had a two player run-around, I know this cause I read it in the game guide.

The 2 player run around were quite fun for a bit, but they usually ended up with one of us killing the other.

I've yet to play the PSP multiplayer since i only know one person with a PSP and thats my housemate.

Wow. multiplayer is awesome fun. I also realised how bad I am at the game. I mean I rarely die in-game, but compared to my friend, I am nothing. He got 5 kills to my 2 in 10 minutes.

There is little to no lag at all, considering it is WiFi, so its not really an issue. I only played 1 on 1 deathmatch, but some of the others, like the street racing, look mad fun.

I've completed the storyline, it was pretty good, but was quite short. The last mission went on for ages as usual.

Wish i could play multiplayer as that would be sweet, we have wireless broadband here, so i guess you could play it over the net.

You can play with a special program that makes the PSP think your internet connection is ad hoc, ie another PSP. GTA doesnt support internet play unfortunately.

I finished it yesterday too, I got side tracked doing missions like the Avenging Angels and stuff.

The last mission was pretty good, though I died on my first try, the helicopter at the end killed me with one shot, even though i had close to full health+body armor, it was random.

GTA3 was still the best GTA I've played, storywise.
