instead of messing about in the GTA4 topic, itd be easier to make a new topic.
that being said, what weve got are:
GTA: VC2
GTA: Carser City
GTA: Landon
GTA in a totally new city/location
GTA: Potatoes (Idaho)
according to BM, EGM stated, as a rumor, the next GTA will be in a totally different location.
im still kind of inclined to think itll be VC2, but, idk nothing.

I dunno if they'll do a GTA:Landaan after The Getaway.
In a way, I'd like a new location somewhere with Mountains and snow.
Buscuit
Jan 19 2009, 08:38 PM
GTA: Idaho!
seriously, id like that. or, more to it, a more defined map featuring a mountainous section with snow, and a city, as well as some rural areas in between.
i also wouldnt mind a game set in the 70s, plenty of awesome muscle cars and the guns were just as good. give us a jive mob or something.

Where is Idaho, and why would there be any measure of crime there?
Hods
Jan 19 2009, 10:25 PM
It's in america and therefore lots of people would shoot each other.

probably the quietest and most peaceful of all the states. they make
potatoes mostly.

Buscuit. You ruined your own topic with really lame stuff about Idaho.
Buscuit
Jan 23 2009, 10:48 PM
well [censored] Idaho.
i want to buy properties in the next GTA. or at least more places to save.
Cool Bo C
Jan 24 2009, 02:18 AM
I would like a more open story like in Fallout. I mean like you don't have to do this job or that job, you can choose. Like how you could kill Playboy X or Dwayne, but more open.
So you really feel like you are in charge?
Buscuit
Jan 24 2009, 04:54 AM
sort of sounds like a more focused version of the GTA2 type story.
Cool Bo C
Jan 24 2009, 02:00 PM
Yeah... Like you choose who you work for and the game adapts.
Buscuit
Jan 24 2009, 05:40 PM
thatd be pretty nice. it would allow for a lot more flexibility in the story, but, rival gangs wouldnt like you if you entered their territory.
I definitely think it would be set in VC again, but the whole city would be re-done just like LC was in IV. It would be set in present day again, and could possibly follow Niko & Roman again (at the end of GTA IV, Roman mentions moving down to Vice City).
Buscuit
Feb 1 2009, 07:05 PM
meh. i think itd be cooler in the 80s again..
BlackMist
Feb 1 2009, 10:10 PM
Why would they do VC in the 80s again.........?
Do LC in the 80s.
Do SA in the 80s.
But not VC, its already been done, I wanna play VC in a different time era.
Buscuit
Feb 1 2009, 10:37 PM
ok, but, VC was great with it being the beach and all the neon. 70s SA would be great. all the old Vegas mobs.
Cool Bo C
Feb 2 2009, 10:41 AM
I don't want another old one. Modern day is good.
BlackMist
Feb 2 2009, 03:13 PM
Well too much modern day ones and we'll get bored.
Buscuit
Feb 2 2009, 09:19 PM
i agree. 70s vegas would rock. a modern Vice City would be weird, but possible i guess.
BlackMist
Feb 2 2009, 09:23 PM
There is nothing wrong with Miami(VC) in 2009.
I've never been there but it looks like a cool city.
Buscuit
Feb 3 2009, 12:51 AM

BlackMist
Feb 3 2009, 01:55 AM

Feb 3 2009, 10:21 AM

BlackMist
Feb 3 2009, 06:07 PM
Sounds Sweet.

Cool Bo C
Feb 3 2009, 10:03 PM
But no cars.
And a dog.
BlackMist
Feb 3 2009, 10:38 PM
And you should be able to do the Gang thing again (like in GTA: SA or SR) where you get your homies to join you. And they fight your battles, while you hide in a corner....
Buscuit
Feb 3 2009, 11:05 PM
and then the GTA franchise would have a horribly embarrassing end.
BlackMist
Feb 3 2009, 11:56 PM
How so.....?

Buscuit doesn't get it.
its a Fallout 3 reference.
BlackMist
Feb 4 2009, 11:06 PM
Thats nothing like Fallout 3, other than the wasteland/nuclear war part.
Fallout 3 takes place in the 1970s, after Nixon was president.
There are dogs in the game, but they like are Zombie dogs(like Resident Evil).
And there is no gang thing like GTA: SA or SR2.
And there are trucks, old cars, tanks, buses, etc in Fallout 3.
Buscuit
Feb 5 2009, 06:50 AM
uh huh.

Feb 5 2009, 07:31 AM

No, he's doing the non-nerdy, non-gay, tough guy act.
Buscuit: "Fallout 3 is sooooo gay and nerdy, man only a nerdy homo would play it" "Its just not my type of game, I perfer games that aren't gay and nerdy"
You play and enjoy Half-Life, thats even gayer!
Buscuit
Feb 5 2009, 10:27 PM
i have no interest in it.
BlackMist
Feb 6 2009, 12:34 AM
But you do have interest in Half-Life and them other gay games?

Yeah that has to be it.
Yet he has interest in old outdated PS2 games that aren't as good as Fallout 3 - Black, Timesplitters, etc.
So it must be a money issue.
